DIY Smart Home Kit
Hack your home! With the Smart Home Kit, anyone can invent their own Internet of Things (IoT) device with ease. No prior coding or hardware experience necessary. With littleBits easy-to-use electronic blocks, you don’t need any prior hardware or coding experience. With the companion web app, you can even connect with web services such as Gmail or hardware such as NEST thermostats.
Using a sound sensor and the counter Bit, for example, you could rig up a little gadget to text your phone when your dog barks more than 20 times. Or you could stick the temperature sensor in your fridge and have it alert you in the event the door's left open. With the MP3 player and the speaker Bit, you could play waiting music for the pizza delivery guy at the front door.
